CHOPMIST HILL AVIARY

When I was a child,  I watched and learned as my father bred beautiful birds. I was full of questions and really appreciated the care and responsibility my dad put into his flock.

When dad passed away in 2003, I took on his birds. It made me feel close to him, but soon,  I became fascinated and Chopmist Hill Aviary was born.

I have a deep fascination for the mutations, the beautiful and the unusual. Many years of careful selection and breeding, I have finally begun to produce the beautiful mutations that intrigue me.

Many of my babies are handfed by me. You can often find me at a horse show with babies to feed...

I keep my aviary clean and closed to visitors to avoid upsetting the birds and eliminate germs and disease at all costs.

 My birds are sold from this web site in pictures and text as well as the link to birdbreeders. com 

Questions are always welcome by email. 

Birds may be picked up by appointment.

I do ship, DELTA AIRLINES, weather permitting at the buyer's expense.

I stand behind my birds and I NEVER sell a sick bird or any bird I feel is not in healthy condition.

Often you will see me and my birds at bird shows and marts in the Northeast. Many folks look for me because they know I have nice birds.

C & D BIRD TOYS

 My Bird Toys are made of 100% bird safe materials. Safety is very important to me. Our toy designs are tested and enjoyed by my own birds. My sister and I are always designing new toys because we both feel birds need to have toys that are interesting, chewable and safe. Birds need to be busy, just as they are in the wild.

Designs

I create my own custom embroidered, handpainted designs on clothing, hats and more, using textured fabric paint, polysester threads [long lasting] and swaroski crystals. I also do personalized orders which require a $25 deposit.

 The beaded jewelry is made of swarovski crystal and pearls, gemstones, firepolished gems and metals. No jewelry piece is exactly the same and the items offered are forever changing, so check the page often.

NORTHEAST BIRD GROUP

Because I am a serious breeder and it is extremely important that folks learn and purchase birds through trusted knowledgable breeders. I and other area breeders and retail pet stores helped to create this club which is based in Rhode Island. 

 This club is the Northeast Connection between breeders, supplies,  pet birds and bird hobbyists with a focus on bird education and trade shows. Be sure to check out the Northeast Bird Group Pages in this website.
